It's been bitterly cold lately and snow storms seem to be the new trend around here. This weather causes many people to suffer from the winter blues. It can be pretty dark and dreary, wardrobe included, but how can you be sad when you've got fashion?! To cheer you up and keep you pushing through to spring, I've put together five looks of the dark blues we wear all winter and added some shine, glamour and a little boldness. Bold Print Blue
How gorgeous is this bold-print blue dress? The red flowers and shoes are a perfect match for your make-a-statement moment. Whether you're the birthday girl, bride-to-be or going on a dinner date, this hot combo will get you compliments all night. I kept the purse and jewelry simple. A matte navy purse to allow the dress and shoes to shine and a gold/clear icicle necklace to match the gold zipper detail on the purse. Very cute.

Blue Suede Boots
Blue suede over-the-knee boots! I love them and think they are so chic. The easiest way to wear them are with jeans but they're even more adorable with an a-line, flirty, flare dress. This grey, blue and off-white print is perfect because it's not too loud and the brighter blues get picked up by the boots. Keep warm with this faux fur vest and top this look off with a navy blue fedora. If you really want to wear jewelry, I'd suggest simple studs and a delicate necklace. I spotted a stack of rings that you could play around with to accent your city chic, girls-night-out look. Make sure your mani is on point to match!

This blue metallic cardigan is gorgeous and versatile. It reminds me of a modern day Moses but in a completely feminized and sparkling version. This outfit is what I call minimalist-meets-boho. The denim top is not your average button up and yes, those are white pants (as discussed in How to Wear White After Labor Day). I love them both and couldn't pass up such a good fringe bootie. The anchor necklace gives hope for the spring and summer season and to tie the entire look together, this incredible burberry bag says it all.
Blue Leather Skirt
When you think about how to brighten up your winter blues, you can't help but think about the sun or yellow. So, here you have it. This pleated yellow blouse is, (what's the saying now?) everything! So fun and fierce at the same time, it's confusing the more I look at it. Well, not really, it's just awesome. Where is the blue, you're asking? In the faux leather skirt. The next time you decide to get one of these, choose a blue! It's absolutely stunning. Now, of course it's cold out so find a pair of tights to go with this look and layer up with this beautiful biker jacket. Weather the storm in these silver shining booties and keep the sunny glare from the snow out of your eyes with these cat-eye tortoise-shell shades. Boom!
