Happy December! It's the final month of the year and the holidays are here. I love the Christmas season!  Without a doubt, employers are making an end-of-year effort to bring good cheer to its employees with a holiday party.  Whether it's at the office or held at a grand ball room, this event is a kind gesture of gratitude for the work you've been doing all year.  It may seem like the perfect time to let it all hang out but allow me to burst your bubble when I say, continue to keep it all in… professionally.  Your office holiday party is actually your chance to shine, connect and leave a lasting impression for your next promotion.  What better way to make a lasting impression than with your eye catching style?  Not sure your current style will catch anything?  I can help. Here's a page out of the Luxe Glam Guide: How to Dress For Your Office Holiday Party.

The Emerald Ruby

The Emerald Aisle dress from Mod Cloth is a gorgeous embroidered holiday show stopper.  It's v-neck allows a little bit of cleavage but if you're busty, you may want to wear a black lace camisole to play off of the pattern and to avoid looking inappropriate.  Most women would pair this dress with black accessories and shoes.  While there's nothing wrong with that, it's expected.  Instead, opt to stand out of the crowd in ruby red shoes and jewels.  These delicious red Valentino Couture Bow d'Orsay pumps  are festive and feminine.  If you're ever confused about how your shoes fit in with the rest of your outfit, simply match your jewels like I did here with these Style &Co teardrop earrings and cocktail ring from the Ariella Collection. Last but not least, every girl needs a purse and this black and gold La Regale diamond pattern minaudière ties in with the black base of the dress and the gold from the accessories. This outfit will tell your future boss that you are thoroughly committed to your projects and complete them with flair.

Floral Finess

Look two's base is a white shift dress with a floral bottom from Choie's.  I accessorized the neckline with a statement necklace from Forever 21, pulling from the blues and greens in the dress.  If you're not in the mood to wear heels, find some metallic flats like these, also from Forever 21. To wrap up this look, I added this faux leather leopard print (my favorite print ever) satchel from the Kardashian Kollection at Sears. I love how this look participates without being as festive as look one.  Wearing white after labor day and making it look this good shows your future employer that you're a determined worker who stands by what you do.

The Belle in Black

If your employer decides to call it an all black or black tie affair, pull your look together effortlessly with the Adella silk maxi dress from Reiss.  Take it to the next level by adding this stone bib necklace from Nordstrom.  Mirror the necklace in a miniature and discreet way by pairing your outfit with the Jasper and Jeera sequin pouch from Anthropologie.  It's mostly green but has a variety of other colors as well.  Finally, the shoes!  I chose the Fine Dining Heels in gold from Mod cloth for it's shimmer and to match the gold in the necklace and purse.  Ta-da!  Your wardrobe will tell your future boss that you're a team player who works beyond minimally required expectations.

Ravishing in Red

I must admit that this look reminds me of what Mrs. Clause might be wearing on a date night with Santa.  Love it! You may have already noticed that this is a shirt dress, hinting at a more casual office party however, even if you wore it during the day with some plain flats, you've got to spice it up for the occasion.  This pretty red Pussybow Shirtdress can be found at Topshop.  Simply add three things; a comfy, beautiful pair of pumps like these Liz Claiborne suede ones, a metallic bag like this faux python pewter (my favorite metallic) clutch by Style and Co. and finally a stunning pair of earring like these jade earrings with diamond accents from JC Penney.  This look will show your boss that you're flexible, think ahead and are prepared for change at a moment's notice.

I know what you're thinking and no, this dress is not from the Dreamgirls movie. It's the Cosmic Sparkle midi dress from French Connection and boy is it glamorous!  This off-the shoulder-centerpiece captures enough light to keep you glowing all night. I like that the color is a deeper gold, it's different.  The shoes are so adorable! They are Betsey Johnson's Frisky Bow leather heel with a bow at the ankles. Aldo's black Alpignano purse  with golden accents plus the cluster drop earrings from Loft add the finishing touches. This look says that you're not afraid to shine and can represent yourself and the office well.
