I hope your 2017 has been off to a great start and that this post inspires you.
As I sit here writing, just days away from being a 1st time mom, I can't help but feel like my life is about to take a tremendous leap into a whole new world. I mean, it's a new year, new season and soon a new baby, so my only option is to push forward! But... it's been said that you won't know where you're going unless you know where you've come from.
I've always taken this saying from a genealogical perspective, seeking my ancestry and characteristics thereof to define myself but as 2016 came to a close, I saw it differently. The year 2017 will not only invite motherhood for me but will celebrate a milestone of my first "baby." It will mark the 5th year of my styling and blogging business, Luxe LeBlanc and while I'd like to refresh my brand and do new things, it's vital that I look back to the beginning. Back to my "WHY."

For 2017, my challenge to you is to reflect back to where it all began. That burning desire to be the person you were meant to be or that business you started or are afraid to start. Maybe it's a career path you've taken or a life goal you're striving to achieve.
Take a moment and think back to your WHY. Why did you start in the first place? What was your drive? Who inspired you? What was the core reasoning behind your decision and does it still excite you today?
Luxe LeBlanc was birthed out of my pageant competing days when my passion was to help women see their self worth, both individually and as a contributing member of their communities. Growing up, I didn't know my worth. I felt I wasn't pretty or smart enough. I constantly conformed to what I thought people wanted me to be.
I finally embraced my true self in my early 20s when I was forced to face valuable, self identifying questions while being interviewed for Miss Westchester 2012. This is why the core message of Luxe LeBlanc remains,
“to inspire women to discover & love who they are and the lives they lead.”

What are your goals? How is your WHY still relevant? Does it still fuel you to take your passion to new heights? What will you do differently this year to get closer to that goal?
This year, I want to make my message loud and clear! My goals are to grace at least 5 panels, take on speaking engagements and host some style events, bringing Luxe LeBlanc to you on a more personal level. I want to be your go to style guru, just a click away, which is why I've started THE LUXE STYLE TRIBE!
The Luxe StyleTribe will be our private group where you can reach me in an instant with your burning style questions and provide a sisterhood of support to others on their style & life journeys.
I will definitely be taking some time to adjust to being a mama, but as I find my balance, keep in touch. I'd love to hear more about your goals for 2017 and how I can help you achieve them through the way you present yourself to the world.
