Hey Loves!
Great news! Have you heard?
Before I began wardrobe styling with Luxe LeBlanc, I had always done hair on the side. Thanks to watching my aunt at her salon everyday after school since I was 4, plus, practicing for years on my little sisters’ and friends heads, I’ve become pretty confident in my craft. Not to mention, the requests won’t stop coming in.
So… I have FINALLY decided to merge my hair styling brand “Kathleen the Crochet Queen” under the Luxe LeBlanc umbrella of styling!
Now back to the secret at hand.
I’ve met many natural haired women who are afraid to wear their natural hair out on their wedding day. They fear the humidity will morph their hairstyle into something else. While I often embrace this transformation, it’s not as fun of an experiment on such an important day.
This is where being the Crochet Queen comes in handy. If you haven’t figured it out by now, the secret to wearing an afro-textured hairstyle in humid weather is to have a crochet weave installed.
One of my favorite brides that I’ve crowned with crochet is my beautiful friend Michelle. She has magnificent, thick, juicy, long hair of her own but she preferred to know that her hair would look the same in all of her photos throughout the day and night.
I installed a textured kanekalon braiding hair using the knotless method and vixen sectioning. Then on the morning of her wedding, I blew it straight and curled it with hot rollers. I styled her crochet with a romantic braid and sweep bang. The style held up without dropping because synthetic hair holds curls longer than human hair.
Wasn’t she stunning?
I have room for 5 more brides this summer if you’re still looking for that perfect natural hair wedding style, schedule your consultation here.
Oh and did I mention that I installed crochet weaves and styled her bridesmaids’ as well?
For more info on the styles I offer, you can find me on StyleSeat. I’m currently offering my services 2 days a week and have a $20 off promotion for all June appointments. I can’t wait to crown you.
Xo,
Kathleen the Crochet Queen
