On my second day at NYFW, I wore a fitted, fall floral dress sent to me by Pink Blush. Thank you! This dress helped me hang on to summer just a little bit longer while welcoming in the fall. I'll definitely be wearing it again in the cooler months with a jacket and booties.
I was scheduled to attend the press portion of Style Fashion Week's shows to meet and interview the designers but the time was pushed back. Since I was on a tight schedule to record my first YouTube haul video (down below), I couldn't stay. So I checked out the scene, took a few shots of my look for you and ran to my recording. Fall Fashion Floral Tip
Note the deeper hues of olive green, fuchsia and mauve in this dress. If you decide to wear florals in the fall, find a dress with deeper colors that adjust to the fall. They don't have to wine colored or pumpkin, though those are great options too, just not as pastel or vibrant as summer. If you do have a summer floral that you'd like to wear a little while longer, find the darkest color on the item and compliment it with a matching sweater or jacket. An alternative, is to pair it with fall shoes and a denim jacket. Have fun experimenting!
