my name is Kathleen LeBlanc, affectionately called “Ms. L” by my students. Growing up in an immigrant family, the value of the arts and the prospect of making a living through creative pursuits were unfamiliar concepts. Yet, with over 15 years of dedicated experience as an educator, I've had the privilege of inspiring and guiding countless young minds on their educational journeys. My passion for teaching extends beyond the traditional classroom setting, as I have also spent over a decade as a teaching artist in fashion and music. My journey has seen me featured on television, in theater, and in film, and I've had the honor of nurturing the talents of budding creatives.
In addition to my extensive background in education and the arts, I am a certified life coach. This certification allows me to provide valuable guidance and support to individuals seeking personal growth and development, further enhancing my ability to empower others on their unique paths to success. I am dedicated to sharing my knowledge, fostering creativity, and helping individuals unlock their full potential. Our Sustainable Fashion students and families upcycled old clothes and fabrics to create new ones, went thrift shopping and showed their creations off on the runway for our finale.
